Driving from the airport to Poema del Mar takes about 25–30 minutes. Take the GC‑1 motorway north toward Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and follow signs for the Port / Sanapú area. There is parking available near the aquarium and at the Centro Comercial El Muelle, a short walk away.

By Public Bus (Guaguas): From Las Palmas City Centre:
Several local buses serve stops near the aquarium. Lines such as 12, 24, 301, 44, 49, 80, 1, L1, 2, 19, 21 and 328 stop within a short walk of Poema del Mar (e.g., Agustín Millares Sall or Mercado del Puerto stops 4 min walk).

From Gran Canaria Airport: You can take bus 60 or 91 from the airport to Las Palmas de G.C. (Santa Catalina) stop, then walk approximately 8 minutes to the aquarium. The full journey usually takes about 35 minutes.
